RECORD NUMBERS AT ART & SOLE
aRT & sOLE FIRST PLACE WINNER

Dylan Stevens claimed his prize painted by Rickimarie, age 8, after taking first place overall at this year's Art & Sole. He, like so many of those who won children's art prizes, find these treasures to be so much more meaningful than trophies or medals. In the first picture in the album below, Dylan accomplished the 5k race with a time of 16:03; Rosie's time was 19:48. Amazing! The full results can be found www.runhigh.com.

This, the 11th Annual Art & Sole, had the highest number of registered participants - 509! Once the starting gun sounded, the runners and walkers took off down 10th Street toward State. As the leaders of the pack made the turn north onto State, the tail was just passing the Art House. It was quite a sight to behold. Thank you to our outstanding committee: Matt Catrabone, chair, Michael Agresti, Megan Henry, Christina Katen, Ashleigh Montagna, Trevor Nash, Jeff Shaw, Shannon Wiertel and NAH Development Associate Patti Eichen on a job well done! Thank you to all of our sponsors, to all those who participated, and to our many volunteers.

Team participation was at an all-time high -- 24 teams made up of 304 participants. Nash Chiropractic weighed in with the largest team with 55 participants. Close behind them was Erie Insurance with 42; Size does not necessarily mean might, though. Gannon's team of 7 took first prize for the teams; Second place went to Lincoln Recycling with a team of 10, and third place was earned by Team Nash. Five families formed teams as well.

Always fun to watch is the Fun Run for Kids. They raced with the same effort as their elders on their 1k course. The first one across the finish line was Declan Toohey, age 11.

Whether you ran or walked, were on a team or ran individually, were age 2 (youngest participant in the Fun Run for Kids) or a healthy 84, we all hope you had a great time!
